After securing a series-B funding in September 2024, Qualifyze is now focused on expanding to the US market.

Role Overview,

We are looking for an ambitious and structured intern to support our Corporate Finance team. This role offers hands-on experience in
benchmarking, industry & market analysis, and competitive research across the Life Sciences and SaaS sectors.

The ideal candidate is analytical, pragmatic, and detail-oriented, with a structured mindset and high reliability.

Main responsibilities, 

• Market screening & competitive benchmarking: Research and structure insights on key sectors (SaaS, pharmaceuticals, healthcare),
  identifying market trends, industry dynamics, and potential areas for expansion.

• Industry benchmarking: Analyze market size, growth rates, competitive positioning, and customer demand to highlight opportunities
  and risks.

• M&A and macro-strategy screening: Monitor relevant M&A activity, as well as macroeconomic and geopolitical indicators that could affect Qualifyze’s operations, growth opportunities, or risk profile.

• Trend monitoring: Track emerging industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements that could impact business strategy.

• Market intelligence communication: Create and maintain a bi-weeklyMarket & Industry Insights letter, synthesizing findings from M&A, market trends, geopolitical events, and macroeconomic signals.

• Automating market intelligence: After establishing the content framework, progressively automate sourcing and publishing of insights using tools like Zapier, Feedly, or similar platforms.

• AI-driven content curation: Ensure the automation system delivers structured, relevant, and high-quality updates to internal stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications,

• Enrolled in a top-tier Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field at a leading university.

• Strong academic track record and a highly structured, analytical, and pragmatic approach (Grade expectations: Management <1.6; STEM/Quantitative fields <2.0)

• Strong reliability and sense of ownership—able to consistently deliver high-quality work on time.

• Basic project management skills to structure and execute research tasks independently.

• Comfortable working cross-functionally with various teams and aligning output to broader business strategy.

• Interest in AI and automation tools (Zapier, Feedly, etc.); Python knowledge is a plus, but not required.

• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel & PowerPoint).

• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus but not required.
