Principal Data Engineer

The CRM and Data Analytics Department is a key element of our company’s development plans as we make it digital and Data-driven. We develop data products such as intelligence databases, managerial and operational reports, scores and features for our customers' needs. The CRM environment is integrated in our scope as a key channel for Data production and usage.

As a part of our sub-team for Data Engineering, and reporting directly to the Head of Data Analytics, the Principal Data Engineer will be a key contributor for our team. Teaming up with our software engineers, data engineers, analysts and data scientists, they will develop our Data integration and products, end to end.

How you will become part of our success story:

• Build data pipelines between our proprietary platform, CRM tool and GBQ work environment for self-service ad-hoc analyses and reporting

• Co-develop our innovative data products, starting with data acquisition and integration engine, to build our market intelligence engine and supplier intelligence tools

• Define the best approaches for Data management with our software engineers, product owners and data analysts

• Contribute to the definition of our data model and data architecture for Analytics

• Own, monitor and manage our data delivery systems, debugging and fixing any related issues

• Influence our technical options to expand our work environment

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a relevant field

• 3+ years of experience building data pipelines in cloud environments using APIs and data extractors

• Proficient in Python and SQL

• Skills in Data modeling, Data architecture and Data management

• Previous experience on Google Cloud (GCP) environment

• Knowledge of platforms like Airflow, Integromat, Zapier or similar are a plus

• Experience in web scraping, text data processing and Google Analytics are a plus

• You are familiar with Agile work methods and Data engineering best practices including Github and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
