Job requirements
Role Overview:
The NetSuite Specialist (Systems & Integrations) is part of the Finance team. This role owns and continuously improves our NetSuite setup as the core ERP for Finance, with a strong focus on systems integration, automation, and architectural consistency across our systems architecture.
The role sits at the intersection of Finance and Data, ensuring that financial workflows are scalable, automated, and aligned with a homogeneous, well-governed systems architecture. Beyond system ownership, the role is responsible for enabling the evolution of end-to-end finance processes and for the quality of the finance data used for decision-making.
While the title is specialist-oriented, this is a role with high autonomy and ownership over business-critical systems. The role is expected to operate independently, lead cross-functional initiatives, and act as a trusted technical partner to Finance leadership.
The position is fully dedicated to NetSuite and its integration into the broader tooling ecosystem. Any excess capacity can be leveraged to support other high-impact finance and systems initiatives within the Data Platform. This includes driving analytics enablement, improving governance, and implementing strategic finance systems initiatives.
Main responsibilities:
As our Netsuite Engineer (Systems and Integration), you own, design, configure, and evolve Netsuite as a core company system, driving architecture, integrations, and configurations to ensure long-term scalability.
You transform business requirements into automated end-to-end workflows (e.g., OtC, PtP, R2R) while designing the necessary system controls and audit trails in NetSuite to ensure scalability, efficiency, and full audit readiness.
You build and maintain integrations between NetSuite, Platform, and the Data ecosystem, following standardized architectural patterns and ensuring alignment with overall systems architecture, data quality, and BI alignment to provide a reliable foundation for internal and external financial reporting.
You drive the finance systems roadmap and evaluate new modules or integrations through a strategic lens and 'build vs. buy' analysis to ensure scalability and compliance while minimizing technical debt.
You document configurations, workflows, and integrations to ensure long-term maintainability and architectural homogeneity.
Main Requirements:
Your deep expertise in the NetSuite (ERP) is backed by hands-on experience with APIs, connectors, and iPaaS tools.
With a proven track record in project management, you successfully collaborated on complex system roadmaps from initial scoping to final delivery.
You have a strong understanding of accounting and finance operations, enabling you to translate business needs into scalable system designs.
A disciplined approach to engineering best practices, including Git, structured documentation, and change management, is core to your work.
Proficiency in SQL-based analytics enables you to structure ERP data for high-quality reporting and precise KPI tracking.
As a business-first systems thinker, your strong intuition for the finance domain allows you to see the big picture beyond the software.
Navigating ambiguous, cross-functional problems is where you excel, leading them from initial uncertainty to clear end-to-end solutions.
You are highly data-driven and take great accountability for the accuracy and integrity of all financial information.
By bridging the gap between Finance and Engineering, you effectively challenge and refine requirements to ensure the best technical outcomes.
