Role Overview,

We’re building our Data Curation team from the ground up—an exciting chance to shape things from day one! This role is part of our Product and Tech Department, a fast-moving and collaborative team of over 60 people.

As the Data Curation Team Lead, you will manage and direct a team of 6 Data Curation Specialists to ensure they are set up to deliver their core responsibilities consistently, within agreed timeframes and to a high standard. You will provide direct resource allocation, goal setting, feedback, coaching and support to them to be able to deliver their work. 

You will create an environment where specialists operate with high attention to detail, aim for first class execution and take ownership over their work to ensure it’s completed. You will upskill the team to enablement them to tackle new tasks as the scope of roles increase and demonstrate our Qualifyze Values in your team leadership.


Main responsibilities, 

  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of 12 data curators, ensuring smooth onboarding, continuous training, and overall team growth.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Quality, Product, Engineering, and Data, to align data curation efforts and objectives with company goals.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Data Curation team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of data migration projects set. 

  • Monitor team performance, set priorities, and coordinate delivery timelines to ensure impactful and scalable data solutions.

  • Facilitate quarterly performance  reviews to ensure each team member is achieving their potential, and addressing any impact or behavioural issues fast  

  • Act as a Qualifyze cultural ambassador within our office, reinforcing our global company ways of working whilst blending local customs and practices for the team

Main requirements,

  • Min 3 years experience as a team lead / people manager with multiple direct reports. 

  • Background working within technology services or software companies, with a focus on data processing, management and migration. 

  • Comfortable communicating in English (written and spoken) in a fast-paced, international environment.

  • Understand how to use Google Suite and simple databases to structure and maintain data accurately.

  • Experience of managing changeable workflow tasks and priorities, directing these changes back to your team members
