The purpose of the role
This internship is designed to provide you with hands-on experience in shaping and implementing our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy. You will play a key role in aligning our operations and policies with sustainable practices, supporting our commitment to ESG excellence. The role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to Qualifyze’s sustainability efforts and develop a robust understanding of ESG in the Life Sciences industry.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of an overarching ESG strategy that aligns with Qualifyze’s long-term sustainability goals.
- Review existing company policies, operations, and processes through an ESG lens to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Coordinate and engage with key stakeholders across departments to ensure alignment with ESG initiatives and compliance.
- Conduct research to benchmark Qualifyze’s ESG performance against industry standards and assist in preparing ESG compliance reports
- Assess potential risks related to environmental, social, and governance factors within the company and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with various departments to propose and implement actionable ESG initiatives that enhance compliance and sustainability across the business.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices in ESG to keep Qualifyze at the forefront of sustainability efforts.
Job requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program related to Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Business, or a similar field.
- Passionate about sustainability and corporate responsibility.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess policies, processes, and performance from an ESG perspective.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management and collaboration.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- High computer and tech affinity, including proficiency in MS Office.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken (other languages are appreciated as well).
Nice to have
- Familiarity with ESG frameworks, regulations, and standards.
- Experience in GxP or ISO 9001 environments.
- Experience in the Indian pharmaceutical market.
