Accounting Working Student (m/f/d)

Main Responsibilities:

As a working student in the Accounting department, you will support our accounting team in day-to-day operations and exciting projects:

• Support in monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB

• Participation in accounts payable and receivable management as well as in ongoing bookkeeping

• Ensuring accurate cost recording for cost centers

• Participation in accounting projects, e.g., optimization of cost center structures or implementation of new tools

• Preparation and provision of documents for auditors as part of the annual audit

• Independent management of small projects and active contribution to the further development of the accounting department

• Support in process documentation and its continuous optimization

Main Requirements:

• Ongoing studies in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a comparable field

• Solid knowledge of accounting according to HGB and basic understanding of the balance sheet and P&L

• Initial knowledge in the field of VAT

• Careful and structured handling of sensitive data (attention to detail)

• Strong analytical thinking and numerical skills

• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken

• Confident use of Excel and quick grasp of IT systems (e.g., ERP tools)

• Team player mentality, sense of responsibility, and initiative

• First practical experience in accounting is an advantage
