As an Accounting Specialist (Finanzbuchhalter), you will become an integral part of our Finance Team, taking responsibility for our invoice generation process and dunning accounts receivables. This opportunity sits on the young entrepreneurial Finance Team of a hypergrowing organization, where you will get much responsibility from day one and build lasting processes and structures directly with our Head of Finance.


HOU YOU WILL BECOME PART OF OUR SUCCESS STORY

  • You will independently take over the verification and account assignment of incoming invoices.

  • Within the accounting team, you will play an important part in daily accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable and fixed asset entries).

  • You will prepare with our Accounting Manager the weekly payment, following our four-eyes principle.

  • You will take ownership of the preparation, generation, and postings of outgoing invoices/credit notes (accounts receivable) and manage open items, including dunning.

  • You will support sales with tax-related documents for customers in cooperation with our external tax advisor (e.g., double taxation agreements).

  • You will support the data integrity efforts of our Sales Team to keep customer master data complete, correct and reliable.

  • You will assist with monthly financial statements, annual reports, sales and annual tax return.

  • In addition, you will support exciting strategic business projects.

Job requirements

  • You have good language skills, both verbal and written, in German and English.

  • You are an accounting professional with a strong interest in processes enhancement and relevant experience in accounting or taxation.

  • You completed commercial training or bachelor's in the field of accounting, taxation or similar (e.g., Finanz- or Bilanzbuchhalter).

  • You have good theoretical and practical knowledge of HGB principles. Familiarity with IFRS is a plus.

  • You have previous experience with financial accounting systems (preferably DATEV) and MS Office (especially Excel).

  • You are eager to bring structure into a dynamic work environment, and are comfortable taking ownership and speaking up your mind to stakeholders.
